Like most things we spend money on, vacations to Walt Disney World continue to increase in price. A one-day ticket for the Magic Kingdom can cost as much as $209 (though purchasing multiday tickets or visiting during less-expensive periods does bring the per-day cost down significantly).
But that doesn’t mean that there are no ways to save money. In fact, Disney World just released a slew of summertime discounts that, when combined, can save you more than $1,000 on your family vacation.
Here are all the details that will help you maximize the savings on your next Disney World visit.
Free: 2 extra days, dining plan and water park entry

I’m happy to spend even one day at Disney World, but if you’ve been considering going all-in on a vacation that will make all of your kids’ Disney wishes come true, this is the year to do it.
For stays on most nights between May 26 and Sept. 15, you can get two free hotel nights and two free theme park days when you purchase a minimum four-night, four-day Disney World room-and-ticket vacation package. This basically provides six days for the price of two. That means more time to play in Disney’s four theme parks and more time to relax and explore the pools, dining venues and activities at your resort hotel.
Additionally, you can combine this deal with a separate offer that is valid for all of 2026, which includes a free Disney Dining Plan for kids ages 3 to 9 when you purchase a dining plan for guests ages 10 and up in your travel party. You can choose from a Quick-Service Dining Plan, which includes two quick-service meals per day, or a Disney Dining Plan, which features one quick-service and one table-service meal per day. Typically, free Disney Dining Plans are only available with nondiscounted vacation packages, making this a big deal (pun intended).

If you think the savings stop there, think again. Guests who stay in a Disney World hotel between May 26 and Sept. 8 can visit a Disney water park for free on their arrival day.
By stacking these money-saving deals, you can save more than $1,000 on your Disney World vacation.
Let’s take a quick look at the math for a family of four, including two children under the age of 10 who qualify for free dining.
August and September are already the cheapest months to visit Disney World, so I will use mid-August as an example. And because it is one of my favorite resorts for families, I will use Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in this example.

A family of four visiting Disney from Aug. 12 through Aug. 18 and staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort can get six days of theme park tickets, water park entry on their arrival day and a Quick-Service Dining Plan for $4,887.06.
If you were to book this exact package without the “two free nights and park days” discount, you’d pay $6,045.00. The free dining plan and water park entry on your arrival day would still apply, but you would miss the $1,157.94 that comes from the discount.

Another way to frame this discount is to compare it to what you’d pay if you were only staying for four nights and purchased four-day theme park tickets. If you booked a four-day, four-night vacation with the free dining plan promotion, you’d pay $4,684.72. You can essentially stay two nights longer and enjoy two additional days in the park for a total of $202. That’s about $50 more per person for two additional days of playing, sleeping and dining at Disney World.
Save even more with a Disney Visa card
You can save even more money with one of the Disney Visa credit cards.

With the Disney® Premier Visa® Card (see rates and fees), you’ll earn a $300 statement credit after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Meanwhile, the no-annual-fee Disney® Visa® Card (see rates and fees) offers a $150 statement credit after spending $500 on purchases in the first three months from account opening.

If you purchase your Disney World vacation package using the card, the statement credit can offset a portion of your vacation costs. And, if you use your card to purchase an eligible vacation package, you’d be maximizing other cardholder perks, such as cash back in the form of Disney Rewards Dollars that you can redeem at Disney, dining discounts and vacation financing.
Other Disney World discounts
If your vacation dates are outside the offer dates or you don’t plan to stay in a Disney World hotel, Disney has a couple of other discounts that can help you save money.
There are also rare instances where you can save more with a hotel- or ticket-only discount, which is one of the many reasons why we recommend working with an authorized Disney vacation planner. The planner can review the details of your trip and determine which special offer(s) will save you the most money.

For stays in early 2026, you can save up to 25% on your hotel room, and for summer stays, you can save up to 30%.
Your total savings will depend on which hotel you choose and where you stay — but during this offer, you’ll see the highest percentage of savings for stays lasting five or more nights.

Alternatively, if you’re not planning to stay in a Disney World hotel or you are a Disney Vacation Club member who doesn’t require a hotel-and-ticket package, Disney offers a ticket-only version of its “two days free” promotion. With this offer, you can purchase a six-day ticket for the price of a four-day ticket, effectively reducing the starting per-day price to $82 (or $496 for the entire ticket).
How to find Disney World discounts
Finding Disney World discounts is surprisingly easy. On Disney’s website, if you click “Places to Stay” and navigate to “View Special Offers” within the pop-up menu, you’ll see a full list of Disney’s current hotel and vacation package discounts.
You can click here to go directly to the page. Bookmark it for later, or check TPG regularly for the latest Disney discounts.
If you are working with a Disney vacation planner, they will search for these deals on your behalf and apply any that fit. Still, it doesn’t hurt to check occasionally and flag any that you think might apply to your trip.
Bottom line
There’s no getting around it: A Disney World vacation is a significant expense for most families. These Disney World discounts can help you save money for future trips or to spend elsewhere, like on character dining experiences and tickets to one of Disney’s after-hours parties.
