For a March 14 flight departing from Newark, Google Flights shows the British Airways flight as the cheapest option at $559. United Airlines also offers a flight from Newark, priced at $564.

This deal only applies to basic economy fares. British Airways’ basic economy flights do not allow for any ticket changes and there are no refunds. If you cancel your flight, there is a $10 fee to do so online; by phone, it costs $25.

British Airways’ basic economy allows passengers to bring one carry-on and a personal item. For checked baggage, it’s an additional $70 for the first bag, and another $90 for a second bag. Keep in mind that checking bags online when booking your tickets tends to be slightly cheaper compared to doing it in person at the airport.

Additional fees for seat selection start at $38. The most expensive seats on the flights are priced at $120 as they are roomier and on an exit row.

Bottom line

With mostly nonstop flights from major cities across the U.S. to London, this deal is definitely worth snagging before seats fill up.

What makes this deal even more appealing is its wide travel window. You can get discounted fares to London in the spring, during the city’s peak season, or visit in the fall and winter months to escape the crowds of tourists.

Keep in mind, these flights are basic economy, so they may not be the most comfortable and you’ll have to pay extra for more perks since they aren’t included in the fare.
