Round-trip fares to French Polynesia starting at $600 through February

We’ve seen plenty of deals for flights to Tahiti. However, this deal is notable because it includes widespread availability to neighboring islands within French Polynesia.

Additionally, this deal includes flights as soon as Thursday for travel through next month. A last-minute trip to Moorea or Bora Bora? Say less.

Nonstop flights to Papeete hover around $600, while flights to the other islands all include layovers and range in price from $550 to $800 for economy class.

The best flights in this deal are the two to Faaa International Airport (PPT) in French Polynesia’s capital of Papeete.

The first departs from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and starts at $589. The other flight is from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and starts at $602. Both are nonstop, nonrefundable, round-trip, basic economy fares.

Both fares include one full-size carry-on item. However, factor in about $110 to $120 to check a bag. United basic economy fares cannot be changed, while Delta travelers can pay a change fee. Be sure to review the terms of each fare type.

If you are based out of LAX and don’t mind a layover or booking through a third party, consider the following round-trip flights, priced as marked at the time of publication:
