Just in time for the fall and holiday travel season, one of the most anticipated hotels in London is almost ready to open its doors.
According to the hotel website, Park Hyatt London River Thames is open for reservations from Oct. 1 onward. However, available rooms didn’t appear until the beginning of November during TPG’s quest for a booking. Either way, this is great news for World of Hyatt fans planning a trip to London.
The 203-room hotel, originally slated to open in 2022, is part of the broader One Nine Elms development (a mixed-use skyscraper project currently being constructed) along the Thames waterfront, just east of Battersea and west of Vauxhall. Park Hyatt London River Thames, one of TPG’s most anticipated hotel openings this year, is well connected to the rest of the city thanks to the brand-new Nine Elms station on the Northern line extension — meaning you can roll out of bed and have a sausage roll at The Ginger Pig in Borough Market in less than 30 minutes.
World of Hyatt members looking to burn points at the hotel should know the new Park Hyatt is a Category 7 property, meaning award nights range from 25,000 points to 35,000 points per night. Of course, those who’ve achieved Globalist status can redeem their free night award certificate (applicable on Category 1 through 7 hotels) when staying here.
Guests looking to check in to the Park Hyatt London River Thames can expect a mix of brightly decorated, luxe guest rooms with city or river views. Those who want to splurge can opt for one of the Park Hyatt’s suites, which range from spacious rooms with river views to the 1,851-square-foot presidential suite, which has private elevator access and butler service.
After all, what’s the point of going to London if you can’t live like a royal?
