Earn $900 cash back (or 90,000 points) with these best-ever Chase Ink offers

Editor’s note: This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers.

Chase offers four cards in their Ink Business family line.

The most valuable one to points and miles enthusiasts tends to be the Ink Business Preferred Credit Card. Previously, it has offered 100,000 bonus points with a hefty $15,000 spending requirement. However, now you can unlock the same amount of points with only a $8,000 spending requirement in the first three months after account opening.

The other three cards are cash-back products. The Ink Business Cash Credit Card and Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card are offering their best-ever $900 bonus cash back after spending $6,000 in the first three months after account opening.

If you want more bang for your buck, though, you can convert that cash back into 90,000 Ultimate Rewards points if you have a Chase credit card that earns Ultimate Rewards (such as the Chase Sapphire ReserveChase Sapphire Preferred Card or the Ink Business Preferred).

Finally, there’s the Ink Business Premier Credit Card cash-back card, which does not allow cardholders to convert the rewards earned through using it into Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Keep in mind that these are business credit cards. While you don’t need to have an established office with multiple employees to apply (meaning freelancers and sole proprietors are also eligible), you will need to have a business of some sort to apply for these cards.

Let’s run through an overview of each card to see which would be best for your small business.

Ink Business Cash Credit Card

Sign-up bonus: $900 bonus cash back after you spend $6,000 in the first three months after account opening. This matches the best-ever offer we’ve seen on this card.

Annual fee: $0

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rates: 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases each account anniversary year at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services, 2% cash back on the first $25,000 you make in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year and 1% back on all other purchases.

Who should apply: The Ink Business Cash is great for anyone who spends a lot at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services. Office supply stores are a particularly beneficial bonus category because you can often find a wide array of gift cards available for purchase. This means you could earn 5% back on gift cards for merchants that don’t typically earn bonus rewards (Amazon, for example, if you don’t have a card that earns specifically on those purchases).

Ink Business Unlimited Credit Card

Sign-up bonus: $900 bonus cash back after you spend $6,000 in the first three months after account opening. This matches the best-ever offer we’ve seen on this card.

Annual fee: $0

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rate: 1.5% cash back on all purchases.

Who should apply: The Ink Business Unlimited is a great option for small businesses and sole proprietors who don’t have spending concentrated in specific spending categories. No matter the category, you’ll get a flat 1.5% across purchases. While it’s not the most lucrative flat-rate option for business owners, it does come in handy if you have Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards to turn that 1.5% cash back into 1.5 points per dollar (a 3% return, based on TPG’s valuations).

Ink Business Preferred Credit Card

Sign-up bonus: 100,000 bonus points after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first three months after account opening.

Annual fee: $95

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rates: Earn 3 points per dollar on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases across these categories each year: shipping purchases, internet services, phone services, cable services, travel and advertising purchases with social media and search engines. Earn 1 point per dollar on all other purchases.

Who should apply: Small-business owners with significant spending in the bonus categories will be happy to earn up to 450,000 points per year on purchases that cover travel, shipping or telecommunications. Another perk of this card is that it provides direct access to Chase’s hotel and airline transfer partners without needing another credit card to open the points transfer option.

Ink Business Premier Credit Card

Sign-up bonus: $1,000 bonus cash back after you spend $10,000 in the first three months after account opening.

Annual fee: $195

THE POINTS GUY

Earning rates: Earn 2.5% cash back on purchases of $5,000 or more and 2% back on all other purchases.

Who should apply: This card is ideal for small-business owners who are looking for a card with a flexible spending limit (there’s no fixed credit limit on this card, but you must pay the bill in full each month and cannot carry a balance). If you can meet these criteria, you’ll enjoy the unlimited earning potential on this card, plus the fact it provides enhanced cash-back rates on large purchases.

It’s worth noting, however, that the rewards from this card cannot be combined with other Chase points.

Are these bonuses worth it?

These are the best bonuses we’ve seen on the Ink Unlimited and Ink Cash cards. It’s worth getting one of these cards if you have a major purchase coming up that you want to use to earn one of these sign-up bonuses or take advantage of their earning rates sooner rather than later.

While these cards won’t add to your Chase 5/24 total, you do need to be under the limit for the 5/24 rule to apply for any cards with Chase. If you’ve opened five or more credit cards (from any bank) in the past 24 months, you will likely be declined when applying and exceptions to this rule are rarely made.

There are other great offers from Chase available right now, as well. There’s a lower spending requirement for the 100,000-point bonus on the Ink Business Preferred, plus the Ink Business Premier has a sign-up bonus of $1,000 cash back.

Business credit cards — or cards with significant sign-up bonuses — tend to have higher spending requirements to achieve the bonus. If your business can meet these spending requirements, now is a great time to apply for these huge bonuses available on Chase business cards.

Bottom line

$900 in cash-back rewards on the Ink Business Unlimited and Cash cards are the best-ever bonuses offered on these products. And if you can combine rewards with an existing Ultimate Rewards account, these bonus offers are even more valuable.

While you do have to consider 5/24 when applying, it’s certainly worth looking at these offers on the Ink Business Unlimited and Ink Business Cash cards. Most small businesses should be able to hit the spending threshold to take advantage of the bonuses, and either one of these no-annual-fee Ink business credit cards could be a solid addition to your wallet.

However, if you’re looking for an even bigger bonus, consider the 100,000-point offer on the Ink Business Preferred or the $1,000 cash bonus on the Ink Business Premier.
