This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for January.
Airline loyalty program promotions (January 2026)
Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on specific dates, as well as the opportunity to earn more points or miles for future travel and exclusive deals to accumulate points or miles toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for January.
Save 30% on TAP redemptions to Europe
TAP Air Portugal is running a sale on both paid and award flights to Europe. For the latter, you can save 30% when you redeem TAP Miles&Go miles for select flights. For example, there are round-trip economy flights between Washington, D.C., and Lisbon for 40,600 miles plus $155. Or, you can fly round-trip in economy between Miami and Malaga, Spain, for 58,000 miles plus $189.
But this deal won’t last long. You’ll need to book your sale flight by Jan. 29 and travel by May 31.
Need more Miles&Go miles? You can transfer Bilt Points and Capital One miles to the program at a 1:1 ratio.
Earn 50% more Aeroplan points all year
Air Canada Aeroplan’s latest offer could be a lucrative one.
Travelers can earn 50% bonus Aeroplan points on all eligible flights for the rest of the year to virtually any destination in the carrier’s network. Flights must be operated by Air Canada to qualify, and basic economy fares are excluded.
No registration is required. Book by Jan. 31, and complete your travel by Dec. 31.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (January 2026)
Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays and new ways to earn extra points. Here are some January deals to consider when booking your next stay.
Triple your Choice points on winter stays
Choice Privileges members can rack up triple base points on eligible stays from now through March, up to a maximum of 20,000 bonus points.
This offer is valid at participating Choice properties worldwide, excluding those in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. WoodSpring Suites, Mainstay Suites, Everhome Suites and Suburban Studios are excluded as well.
Register and book by March 30, and stay by March 31.
Earn bonus Hyatt points on extended stays
If you’re planning an extended hotel stay, this World of Hyatt offer is for you.
You can earn 5,000 bonus Hyatt points on each stay of five or more nights at participating Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios properties. These extended-stay brands offer full kitchens, dedicated workspaces, on-site laundry and more. You can earn up to 50,000 bonus points in total with this offer — worth $850 by TPG’s January 2026 valuations.
Register, book and stay by Dec. 31.

Card issuers offer deals and discounts on a wide range of products, from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Note that you must activate these offers on your card and use the enrolled card to make the purchase in order to earn bonus rewards. Not all offers may be available on your account.
Targeted Amex Offer at Air France
This Amex Offer, which we spotted on the American Express Platinum Card®, could save you up to 17% on your next Air France flight. And, since the Amex Platinum earns 5 Membership Rewards points per dollar spent on flights booked through Amex Travel, you’ll rack up plenty of valuable transferable points in the process.
Earn a $250 statement credit when you spend at least $1,400 on Air France flights purchased through Amex Travel. Make your purchase(s) by Feb. 28.
Targeted Amex Offer at Viator
Flights and lodging aren’t the only things to factor into your trip budget. Tours and activities are another area where costs can add up fast — and where credit card offers can help you save.
If you’re targeted for this Amex Offer, you can get $35 back as a statement credit after making a single purchase of $325 or more at Viator’s website by Jan. 31. You can use this offer up to twice, for a total of $70 in savings.
Targeted Chase Offer at Turo
If you’ll need a vehicle on your next trip, check your Chase Offers. This one, which we found on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees), could save you money on a car rental through Turo.
Earn $30 cash back on your Turo purchase when you spend $150 or more online or through the app by Jan. 31.

- IHG One Rewards members can receive a 15% discount on bookings made with points at new and recently renovated hotels. Book an eligible property and stay by Feb. 28.
- Earn 3,000 bonus Hyatt points per night at participating Hyatt Vacation Club properties, up to a maximum of 30,000 bonus points. Register by March 22, and complete your stay(s) by March 29.
- After you register, earn double IHG One Rewards base points on unlimited stays until March 31, starting with your second qualifying stay.
- Hilton Honors is offering a welcome bonus for new members: 500 bonus points after your first stay as a member, another 1,000 bonus points after two stays and 1,500 more points after three stays. Join by March 31, and complete your stay(s) within six months of joining.
- New members of the Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards program can save up to $50 on their next flight simply by joining the program by Dec. 31. Targeted Amex Offers
- Earn a $200 statement credit after spending a total of $1,000 on eligible flights booked via the Amex travel portal by Jan. 31. Flights must originate in the U.S. and be operated by Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Swiss or Discover Airlines.
- Earn 10% back, up to $120 in cash back, on qualifying purchases of prepaid hotel bookings made via the Amex page on Expedia’s website by Feb. 2.
- Earn a $100 statement credit when you spend $500 or more on room rate and room charge purchases at participating Omni hotels and resorts in the U.S. and Canada by Feb. 15.
- Earn 5 additional American Express Membership Rewards points per dollar spent, up to 50,000 points total, on qualifying purchases made on the AmaWaterways website by March 2. This offer applies to cruise reservations and onboard spending.
