Here at TPG, there’s nothing we love more than enjoying a long-haul flight in a cushy lie-flat seat for next to nothing.

Right now, Alaska Airlines’ Atmos Rewards program has nonstop flights from Philadelphia to Prague and Budapest for just 55,000 Atmos Rewards points and minimal taxes and fees one-way in business class. There are also some premium economy seats on the same flight for 35,000 points.

Both of these transatlantic flights are among American Airlines’ recently revived routes, starting up again in summer after a seven-year hiatus.

Here’s everything you need to know to book this deal to Prague or Budapest.

Then go to Alaska Airlines’ site to confirm award availability. Check the “Flexible dates” box when searching to see a calendar.

This deal is currently available on select dates in June, July and August.

We’ve seen good availability for return flights from Budapest at the same prices throughout July (though taxes and fees are slightly higher). Return flights from Prague are much more limited. However, you may find a better deal for your return flight through another loyalty program — or you may want to explore Europe a bit before flying home from a different airport.

If you’re not based in Philadelphia, it could make sense to book a positioning flight.

How to earn the Atmos Rewards points for this deal

There are many ways to earn Atmos Rewards points, including with the welcome bonus on the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card. New cardholders can earn 80,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award with this offer. To qualify, spend $4,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days of opening your account.

You can also transfer Bilt Points to Atmos Rewards at a 1:1 ratio, and you can share Atmos Rewards points with family and friends (though you’ll have to pay a fee, unless you hold the right Atmos Rewards credit card).

However, be sure to confirm award availability on Alaska’s site before transferring points, since transfers are irreversible.

Bottom line

Despite making many changes to its new Atmos Rewards program, Alaska Airlines kept at least one thing intact: its popular award chart. This has resulted in some stellar deals on partner flights, like these American Airlines routes to Prague and Budapest.

You’ll need to hurry if you want to take advantage of this deal. Dates are already limited, and these business-class seats won’t last long.
